Facebook Games Arcade is now Facebook Gameroom, and the desktop application for Windows was added as a build target for Unity Editor from Unity Technologies.
Facebook Games Arcade is now Facebook Gameroom, and the desktop application for Windows was added as a build target for Unity Editor from Unity Technologies.
Facebook Gameroom allows users to play web, ported mobile and Gameroom-native games in an app outside of the social network’s environment, and it is available to users with Windows 7 and up.
Facebook director, global games platform Leo Olebe announced the renaming and the integration with Unity at the Unite Los Angeles conference.
And technical product manager, games Sheree Lee added in a blog post:
As announced in August, Unity and Facebook are collaborating on adding Facebook as a new build target to the Unity Editor.
