VOTE: Have You Ever Reported A Bug To Facebook?

We're curious to know how many of our readers have formally reported bugs to Facebook, warned their friends about security problems via status updates or ignored these issues when they've arisen.

Did you know that reporting bugs to Facebook can make you money?

Earlier this month, the site launched what it’s calling the Bug Bounty program, which provides incentives of at least $500 to those who identify critical bugs.

Joe Sullivan, Facebook’s chief security officer said in a blog post today:

The program has already paid out more than $40,000 in only three weeks and one person has already received more than $7,000 for six different issues flagged.

Even people without much security expertise spot glitches on the site and instead of reporting them to Facebook, these users tend to post about them in status updates.
