Facebook Announces Plans To Mark 9/11 Anniversary

Facebook's Washington D.C. office announces plans to mark the ten-year anniversary of 9/11.

Facebook announced plans today to mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11 on the social networking site.

First, Facebook will Livestream “9/11: 10 Years Later — An Evening of Remembrance and Reflection,” from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

The tribute will feature readings from Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, Madeleine Albright and artists Denyce Graves, Emmylou Harris, Melissa Leo and Wynton Marsalis; ABC News’ Christiane Armanpour hosts.

Tune in at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time by clicking the “9/11 Livestream” tab on the Facebook pages of the Kennedy Center or The New Republic.
