Elon Musk, David Sacks Withdraw From Mark Zuckerberg-Led FWD.us

FWD.us, the political advocacy group spearheaded by Facebook Co-Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, suffered two defections over the weekend: Space Exploration Technologies CEO and Tesla Motors Co-Founder Elon Musk, and Yammer Co-Founder and CEO David Sacks.

FWD.us, the political advocacy group spearheaded by Facebook Co-Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, suffered two defections over the weekend: Space Exploration Technologies CEO and Tesla Motors Co-Founder Elon Musk, and Yammer Co-Founder and CEO David Sacks.

Musk said in a statement over the weekend, as reported by UPI:

I agreed to support FWD.us because there is a genuine need to reform immigration. However, this should not be done at the expense of other important causes.

FWD.us has drawn criticism of late for sponsoring television ads in support of the controversial Keystone XL Pipeline.
