Ello, Tinder, BuzzFeed Among Nominees for 19th Annual Webby Awards
The awards ceremony will take place on Monday, May 18, and the ceremony will be available on demand on May 19 on the official Webby Awards site.
The nominees for the 19th annual Webby Awards were announced yesterday, along with voting for the People’s Choice awards. This year’s nominees include Vice, Tinder, Vine, Refinery29 and Tumblr. Voting will remain open until just before midnight on Thursday, April 23rd.
David-Michel Davies, executive director of the Webby Awards said in a statement:
This year’s Nominees are moving Internet culture – and society – forward through their sophisticated technology, sleek user design, and social influence. Each of this year’s Nominees are raising the bar in their respective categories and we are excited for the public to weigh in with their votes for this year’s Webby People’s Voice Winners.
