Another PayPal executive has moved over to Facebook to work on its Messenger applications, this time on the communications side.
Facebook confirmed to Aarti Shah of The Holmes Report that PayPal vice president of global brand and communications Christina Smedley will join the social network later this year as director, communications, Facebook Messenger.
A PayPal spokesperson also confirmed Smedley’s departure to TechCrunch, saying:
We wish Christina all the best and thank her for her many contributions to our company over the past three years.
