Adobe Systems Incorporated has acquired Behance, a social network for designers. The software giant today announced its plans to add Behance's community features to its own Creative Cloud, which serves professionals who use Photoshop and other tools.

Adobe Systems Incorporated has acquired Behance, a social network for designers. The software giant today announced its plans to add Behance’s community features to its own Creative Cloud, which serves professionals who use Photoshop and other tools.

In May, Behance raised $6.5 million in funding from Union Square Ventures and other investors. With more than 1 million members and more than 3 million projects, the site was rapidly becoming a popular destination for photographers and graphic artists to showcase their work.
