The National Hockey League, the NHL Players’ Association and SAP teamed up with social impact education innovator EverFi on the third year of the Future Goals Most Valuable Teacher Program Presented by SAP.
Fans can go to NHL.com/MVT through March 31 to choose their favorite out of 20 nominees for Most Valuable Teacher of the Month, with that voting narrowing the field to the three finalists.
Final voting will take place May 2 through 6, during Teacher Appreciation Week 2022, to determine the Future Goals Most Valuable Teacher of the Year.
Most Valuable Teacher of the Month winners will receive $10,000 worth of technology donations for their school district, as well as street hockey equipment, while the Future Goals Most Valuable Teacher of the Year will receive an additional $20,000 donation from SAP to use in their school district toward environmental sustainability resources.
