Conventional wisdom would dictate that Super Bowl 56 has been the top social sporting event of the first few months of 2022. Conventional wisdom, however, was proven incorrect April 2 and 3.

World Wrestling Entertainment said Monday that its WrestleMania 38 event broke several social media records that were set by the Big Game in February.

Specifically, the 2.2 billion social impressions tallied by WrestleMania 38 from the Monday before the event to the Sunday of the event topped the previous record of 1.8
