CANNES, France — Nicola Mendelsohn, Meta’s VP of global business group, is betting that brands will be bullish on the metaverse. And she brought two of them together at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity to prove it.
“It’s not about replicating what we do in the real world, it’s about changing the ways we get together,” Mendelsohn told a group of reporters Monday evening during the launch of two new Horizon World experiences: the MINIVerse, from BMW’s MINI division and the Fender Stratoverse, from the legendary guitar maker.
