Twitter rolled out a hashtag-triggered emoji to mark Friday’s scheduled release of Renaissance, the new album from Beyoncé.
The social network said the BeyHive custom fandom emoji marks just its second such initiative, following the one it created for the BTS Army when I reached 10 million followers in 2017, and it represents a continuation of the platform’s efforts to celebrate key figures and cultural influences, such as the GOAT emoji honoring Simone Biles leading up to the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.
