Twitter Branded Likes are now available to all managed advertisers looking to reach users in Japan, Saudi Arabia, the U.K. and the U.S.
Branded Likes enable advertisers to transform the social network’s like button into a custom animation, and they are available as an add-on to Twitter’s Timeline Takeover option, which ensures that a brand’s ad is the first to appear when a user accesses Twitter for the first time that day.
Advertisers opting for Branded Likes can choose a hashtag and up to 10 accompanying translations.
When someone taps the like button on an organic or promoted tweet containing that hashtag, the custom animation appears, and Branded Likes will remain active for up to 24 hours in the same country as the brand’s Timeline Takeover.
