Twitter began rolling out prompts on users’ home timelines in 16 countries Monday, directing them to localized Twitter Moments on topics related to the Covid-19 vaccine such as availability, distribution plans and safety.
The prompts will begin appearing Monday in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, India, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, the U.K. and the U.S.
Brand strategy team Twitter Next also released the results of an analysis of the role of brands and influencers in helping to fill the vaccination conversation gap on the social network.
On the subject of that gap, Twitter Next found that vaccine-related tweets from public health sources are seen by fewer than 40% of Twitter users.
