Twitch is opening up its Ads Incentive Program, which it debuted in February, to more creators.
The goal of AIP is to make ads income more predictable for creators by determining a preset payout when they stream for a certain number of hours per month while running ads via the platform’s Ads Manager, and Twitch said creators earned more than $1 billion on its platform in 2021—including ads, bits and subscribers—up more than 50% from 2020.
