The National Hockey League reached a multiyear partnership with Clutch, a vertically integrated online car retailer for pre-owned vehicles in Canada.
Under terms of the pact, Clutch becomes the league’s official online pre-owned car retailer in Canada, and it will have the opportunity to benefit from exclusive marketing rights and designations that will tie its brand to the NHL’s digital, marketing and social media channels.
The Clutch brand will be displayed in camera-visible slot-in ice ads during all of this season’s Stanley Cup Playoffs and Stanley Cup Final games broadcast on Sportsnet in Canada.
The company and the league will also collaborate on content aimed at engaging fans across broadcast, digital and social platforms.
