Facebook IQ teamed up with the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media to examine a sample of 1,022 global Facebook video ads and assess how people were depicted in those campaigns, and they shared their findings Monday.
The social network’s research arm wrote in a blog post, “Our goals were to explore where things stand with representation, people’s attitudes toward diversity in online advertising and the impact of diverse and inclusive representation on digital campaign performance.
