Accessibility is the theme behind Snap Inc.’s first-ever Academy Awards television spot, set to air during the event Sunday (March 27).
Snap noted that CODA, the first motion picture to feature a predominantly deaf cast in leading roles, was nominated for Best Picture, while Troy Kotsur from that film became the first deaf male actor to be nominated by Best Supporting Actor. They were joined by Audible, which earned a nomination for Best Documentary (Short Subject).
