Snap Inc. is testing a new way for creators to earn rewards on its Snapchat Spotlight user-generated content platform, Spotlight Challenges, with the intention of rolling the option out sometime next month.
The company said average daily content submissions to Snapchat Spotlight more than tripled in the second quarter of 2021 compared with the first quarter, while daily time spent per user in the U.S. grew by more than 60% and daily active users rose 49%.
