Henkel Canada’s Purex was named the official laundry detergent of the National Hockey League as part of a multiyear Canadian partnership revealed Wednesday.
The Purex brand will be seen in camera visible virtual slot in-ice ads during regular season games broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet in Canada, and Henkel Canada will run in-store and customer-specific shopper marketing programs and a contest from March through June 2023. The NHL logo will also be featured on Purex products and in-store displays, while Purex partnership branding will appear on local hockey arena rink boards across Canada.
