Meta promoted Patrick Harris to the newly created position of vice president of global channels for its global business group.
Harris, who has been with the company since July 2011, had been vp of global agency development.
Prior to joining then-Facebook, he spent more than five years at Microsoft, serving as director of search agency sales and director of global accounts.
He also held similar roles with Reprise Media (acquired by Interpublic Group), Ask.com and Uproar.com.
Harris continues to report to global business group vp Nicola Mendelsohn, who said in a statement, “Since Patrick joined Meta in 2011, he has built our agency operating model, led several key go-to-market product launches and consistently championed culture and community.
