Pepsi became a back-to-back-to-back MVP winner in the fifth year of Twitter’s Brand Bowl, which recognizes companies that drive the most discussion on its platform during the Super Bowl.
Twitter shared details on the winners of Brand Bowl LVI, as well as last year’s winners.
MVP
This award goes to the brand that ran a national Super Bowl campaign, either on TV or Twitter, and drove the most conversation, determined by total tweets mentioning the brand or campaign hashtag, as well as total retweets, quote tweets and replies on tweets from the brand’s handle.
Not only did Pepsi assemble hip-hop royalty for the halftime show, but the brand also “showed up and balled out,” the social network said, with initiatives such as nonfungible token giveaways and exclusive behind-the-scenes access.
