Instagram said Tuesday that it will begin testing ads at the top of the feed with a “small number” of people, who will only be served those ads after they have already spent “some time” in the application.
The platform plans to gather feedback to determine how those ads impact user experience, and the goal is to provide more opportunities for connections between business and relevant audiences and more flexibility to deliver personalized ads.
