For the second consecutive year, holidays and festivals that fall in March and April—Easter, Holi, Passover, Ramadan—will be celebrated differently due to the pandemic, and Snap Inc. shared its findings on how Snapchatters plan to adjust their celebrations while upholding traditions.
One-half of Snapchat users said they plan to celebrate a holiday or festival this month or next, but 60% said Covid-19 has altered their plans, forcing them to get creative.
A total of 58% of Snapchatters worldwide believe maintaining traditions tied to those holidays and festivals is a top priority, led by Indonesia (78%), the Netherlands (71%), Japan (70%), Norway and India (67% apiece).
