Alessandro Michele provided creative direction on the project.
The lens, available via Lens Carousel and Snapcode, kicks off the augmented reality experience by placing a sleep mask over the user’s eyes, which features the black and gold vintage brooch print from the beauty brand’s Rouge De Beauté Brillant lipstick tube.
The mask lifts to reveal the Snapchatter’s face, after which the different products in the Rouge De Beauté Brillant line are presented in order of recommendation, and users can try all of the various shades and combinations.
Each makeover begins with the Fluide De Beauté Fini Naturel foundation lens, which illustrates five skin tones available from its 40-shade range, enabling users to replicate what the foundation will look like on them.
Snapchatters can then add a sun-kissed look through one of three Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil tones, from fair to medium or dark, or they can choose between the classic or bold Mascara L’Obscur look for their eyes.
The session wraps up with dual-action lip color Rouge De Beauté Brillant, which is available in several different hues and brings lipstick levels of pigmentation and the caring properties of a balm.
The new Gucci Beauty Rouge De Beauté Brillant glow and care lip color is available now in 15 shades.
