Google kicked off a paid media campaign this week in collaboration with Maximum Effort, “Get the Message,” aimed at tweaking Apple over interoperability challenges when Android and iOS users message each other.
The green and blue bubbles issue is addressed, along with other challenges such as broken group chats, low-quality photos/videos, no end-to-end encryption, no texting over Wi-Fi, read receipts and typing indicators, pointing out that these issues could be resolved if Apple adopted the Rich Communication Services protocol.
