Estée Lauder became the first beauty brand to own a trend from the 2021 Pinterest Predicts insights report with its takeover of “skinimalism,” a makeup aesthetic where people embrace slow beauty and let their natural skin texture shine through.
The brand will get a Trend Badge on the platform, adding a banner to Pins shared in related searches tied to certified trends.
Pinterest said the Trend Badge gives advertisers a way to turn insights into actionable, co-branded campaigns.
