Spending on influencer marketing in the U.S. will surge past the $3 billion mark in 2021, according to the latest projections from research firm eMarketer.
The Insider Intelligence company sees a jump of 33.6% in influencer marketing spending in the U.S. in 2021, to $3.69 billion, adding that the 2022 total is projected to exceed the $4 billion milestone, at $4.14 billion.
Growth in the category was far more modest in 2020, at 14.4%, largely due to Covid-19.
