Disney, Google, Snap, Verizon Join Forces on The Avengers AR Experience

Disney, Google, Snap Inc. and Verizon teamed up on a series of next-generation augmented reality experiences for Snapchat inspired by Marvel’s The Avengers.

The lenses will be exclusive to Google Pixel users at first, and they automatically adapt to the environment, enabling Snapchatters to create cinema-quality effects for Snaps and Stories featuring the superpowers of The Avengers.

The first lens, featuring Doctor Strange, debuted Thursday as a 4G and 5G experience, and it will be followed by new drops every seven days:
