The Crib Around the Corner, the first Los Angeles house of black creators launched in the midst of the pandemic, in February. Still, the group, launched by influencer marketing agency Whalar, and sponsored by AT&T TV, hit the ground running, creating engaging, authentic, and highly-viewed content.

At Social Media Week LA last Thursday—Adweek’s first in-person event in 16 months—members of the The Crib discussed their strategies that result in garnering millions of views and followers on TikTok and what it takes to make a branded post take off.
