Grocery and retail giant Albertsons added a multiyear agreement with Pinterest to its shelves Thursday.
The two companies will collaborate on artificial intelligence and application-programming interfaces aimed at helping grocery shoppers with their fresh meal planning.
Albertsons will also be able to tap Pinterest’s creator ecosystem, insights on trends and content formats such as multipage video format Idea Pins.
Pinterest said 93% of weekly food and beverage Pinners use the platform to discover products during their path to purchase.
