McCann New York was recognized as Webby Agency of the Year at the 25th Annual Webby Awards Tuesday.
The agency earned more Webby Awards and nominations than any other agency this year, with four Webby Awards and six Webby People’s Voice Awards, highlighted by campaigns “I Stay Home for,” “Acceptance Street,” “True Name” and “Unfinished Votes.”
McCann Worldgroup chairman and CEO Bill Kolb said in a statement, “We are very proud to win this honor at the Webbys that recognizes the impact of our innovative creative work from so many of our agencies with so many of our client partners, and to see the most-awarded work come from some of our biggest clients.”
