JD.com Debuts Joybuy on Google Express

U.S. customers in 48 states can shop from 8 categories

Chinese ecommerce platform JD.com has added a digital U.S. storefront on the shopping service Google Express.

JD did not respond to a request for comment, but Google confirmed “an assortment of inventory from JD.com is now live on Google Express.”

Another dead giveaway: The Google Express page Joybuy includes JD’s mascot, the dog named Joy.

While JD claims its ecommerce platform for Chinese consumers serves over 300 million customers and offers “a vast selection of products, across every major category (electronics, apparel, home furnishings, fast-moving consumer goods, food, appliances and others),” Joybuy’s selection is more modest.
