'You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet': S4 Capital's Sir Martin Sorrell on Digital Growth

At Adweek's NexTech 2021, the ad industry veteran explained his firm's recent flurry of mergers

S4 Capital has had a busy year so far, launching into 2021 with a spree of mergers—most recently, the “new age,” digital-forward ad and marketing company’s programmatic arm MightyHive combined forces with Salesforce specialist Destined in a deal announced just this week.

That followed the January acquisitions of New York-based creative agency Decoded Advertising, which joined S4’s digital global content practice MediaMonks, and San Francisco-based performance marketing agency Metric Theory, which became part of MightyHive. In March, S4’s digital content practice MediaMonks merged with Toronto-based design and experience agency Jam3.
