Rinki Sethi joined Twitter as chief information security officer, filling a role that had been vacant since last December, when Mike Convertino left the social network to join cybersecurity provider Arceo.
Sethi had been vice president and CISO at cloud data management provider Rubrik, and she previously held related roles with IBM, Palo Alto Networks, Intuit and eBay.
She will report to platform lead Nick Tornow, who said in a tweet, “Today, I’m thrilled to welcome @rinkisethi as the new CISO of @twitter.
