The Trade Desk's Q4 Revenue Leaps 48% to $320 Million

Total spend on the platform was $4.2 billion in 2020

The Trade Desk, the industry’s largest pure-play programmatic advertising company, posted annual revenue of $836 million as its Q4 revenue jumped 48% year over year.

Top line

TTD’s revenue came in at $319.9 million in Q4, ahead of earlier forecasts of $292 million. Key drivers of the growth came from emerging channels such as audio and connected TV (CTV). Broken out, CTV revenue doubled compared to Q4 2019.

CEO Jeff Green said 2020 was a “uniquely challenging year” that accelerated several preexisting trends, including an audience shift toward CTV.
