Ad tech continues to lure investors’ ad dollars with mergers and acquisitions plus public flotations in the space gathering pace with Simpli.fi the latest outfit to exit.

Private equity firm Blackstone has today announced an investment in Simpli.fi in a deal that values the demand-side platform at $1.5 billion.
The deal comes four years after GTCR agreed to acquire a majority stake in Simpli.fi with both PE firms now commanding equal representation on the company’s board of directors.
Between the lines
The deal was brokered (in part) by LUMA Partners and is the latest example of PE firms taking an interest in the space with Blackstone’s Simpli.fi
