Paramount Global promoted its former svp of podcasts Steve Raizes today as evp of podcasting and audio.
Raizes will oversee all things audio for CBS News and will report directly to Domenic DiMeglio, evp and CMO of CBS Interactive, and Neeraj Khemlani, president and co-head of CBS News and Stations.
Vice president and general manager of CBS News Radio Craig Swagler, who has held the position since 2017, will report to Raizes. Before assuming his svp role at the Paramount-Viacom conglomerate in December 2019, Raizes had been Viacom’s svp of podcasts and live.
“Steve brings the experience and relationships with streaming platforms to take our podcasting strategy to the next level,” Khemlani said in a statement.
