Neighborhood social network Nextdoor added targeting options to its ad platform in the U.S. with the aim of enabling public agencies to easily engage with people in specific neighborhoods or across multiple markets, depending on their needs.

Chief revenue officer Heidi Andersen explained, “Nextdoor connects neighbors with each other and everything nearby. We know how critical public agencies are to the health of our neighborhoods, and we want to help them drive measurable outcomes by creating meaningful connections with a uniquely engaged local audience.
