LinkedIn Pauses Collection of IDFA Data via Its iOS App

The professional network sad it expects the impact on campaign performance to be limited

LinkedIn’s iOS application will no longer collect IDFA (Identifier for Advertising) data for now as the professional network plots its strategy for dealing with the changes Apple is bringing to its iOS 14 operating system.

The company said in a blog post that this change will affect its LinkedIn Audience Network mobile ad network, conversion tracking and Matched Audiences, but it expects the impact on campaign performance to be limited, and it does not foresee major changes to the way campaigns are set up.
