LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Begins Notifying Customers About Measurement Issues

LinkedIn said Thursday that it discovered and corrected seven technical issues within its ads products that impacted roughly 8% of its LinkedIn Marketing Solutions customers.

The issues impacted reporting on the measurement of views for certain video ad campaigns, click counts for campaigns on mobile ad network LinkedIn Audience Network and metrics on some sponsored content campaigns.

LinkedIn Marketing Solutions vice president of product Gyanda Sachdeva explained in a statement, “While these issues had a relatively small impact and the majority were fixed in less than two weeks after they were discovered, we are starting to let customers know about them this week and are processing credits to their accounts.
