Did you know that LinkedIn may provide some data about you to “trusted third-party partners” for use in “social, economic and workplace research?” If you’re uncomfortable with this data being shared, our guide will show you how to stop LinkedIn from sharing your information for data research.

Step 1: Tap your profile picture in the top-left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Settings.”

Step 3: Tap “Data privacy.”

Step 4: Scroll down and tap “Social, economic, and workplace research.”

Step 5: Tap the toggle to the right of the word “Yes” to stop LinkedIn from sharing your data with third-party partners for data research.
