By default, LinkedIn may use information from your profile (like your profile picture, name and company) to personalize the ads you see on its platform. However, you have the option to stop the professional network from doing so. Our guide will show you how to stop LinkedIn from using your profile data for ad personalization.

Step 1: Tap your profile picture in the top-left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Settings.”

Step 3: Tap “Advertising data.”

Step 4: Tap “Profile data for ad personalization.”

Step 5: Tap the toggle to the right of “Yes” to turn this feature off.
