Did you know that LinkedIn allows you to share certain demographic information about yourself (things like your gender and veteran status) with the professional social network in order to see more personalized content? This information isn’t shared publicly on your profile, but it is instead used by LinkedIn to help personalize your experience on the platform.

Step 1: Tap your profile picture in the top-left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Settings.”

Step 3: Tap “Data privacy.”

Step 4: Tap “Personal demographic information.”

Step 5: Tap “remove” near the top of the screen.

Step 6: Tap “Remove” on the confirmation window that appears.
