CANNES, France—For the second year in a row. Adweek is covering what has been a must-attend event for many of the 40,000 or so delegates whojoin in: the Captify Pool Party. It’s an afternoon barbecue and pool party at a villa in the hills above the French Riviera town.

This time around, we caught up with Amanda Stout, global partnerships and digital media lead at IBM; Marissa Curcuru, global media manager at Bose; and Daffyd Woodward, global lead of INCA (Group M’s influencer marketing agency) to find out what kind of business gets done in an idyllic setting like this.
