Former Magna Executive David Cohen Is the New President of IAB

He'll take on the No. 2 role at the trade group starting April 1

The Interactive Advertising Bureau has named David Cohen, a former Magna and Universal McCann senior executive, its new president effective April 1.

Cohen will take on the No. 2 role at the trade body, reporting to IAB CEO Randall Rothenberg. He will replace Patrick Dolan, who announced his departure last December to pursue an “entrepreneurial opportunity.”

“David has been part of the digital marketing sector since its inception and has been instrumental in building organizations responsible for purchasing billions of dollars of digital media inventory annually,” Rothenberg said.

Cohen most recently served as president of North America for Interpublic Group’s Magna.
