Facebook Watch Now Has Over 1.25 Billion Monthly Visitors

The social network outlined updates for both viewers and content creators

Facebook introduced video destination Facebook Watch in August 2017 and took it global one year later, and the social network said last week that over 1.25 billion people are visiting Facebook Watch every month.

Head of video products Paresh Rajwat said in a blog post that enhancements to the platform have included better navigation, content curation by experts and smarter machine learning to make it easier for people to find content they are interested in.

A dedicated section for live videos was also added to Facebook Watch earlier this year, with over 13.7
