Facebook said Thursday that the deadline for iOS applications on its Facebook Audience Network monetization platform to migrate their apps to bidding only was extended to May 31 from March 31.

Android apps have until Sept. 30 to comply.

The move to bidding only was a response to upcoming changes to Apple’s iOS 14 operating system, but Facebook said at the time that its goal when it first began testing bidding on Audience Network in March 2017 was to eventually migrate the platform to a bidding-only demand source, and Apple’s iOS 14 updates merely accelerated the process.
