Crypto.com, the cryptocurrency platform headquartered in Singapore, made its Super Bowl debut with an ad titled “The Moment of Truth,” celebrating LeBron James’ career and the concept of making life-altering decisions.
Taking chances
The ad opens in 2003, and transports viewers back to a teenage James’ bedroom. There, an older James is in conversation with his younger self. A Dr. Dre CD—likely a nod to this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show—plays on young James’ stereo as he marvels at the idea of cordless headphones, smartphones and electric cars.
