CM Group Acquires Sailthru and Liveclicker to Boost Personalized Email Services

Campaign Monitor parent group could add more to its portfolio later this year

The parent company of email marketing services including Campaign Monitor and Emma is acquiring a pair of companies to boost its data-driven messaging capabilities.

CM Group is acquiring Sailthru, a cross-channel marketing platform, and Liveclicker, a personalized email service, in a move that CM Group says will allow its clients to make its content more relevant to consumers. Announced today, the news adds 540 customers and $60 million in revenue to CM Group’s portfolio.

“Bringing these brands together makes it possible for us to provide marketers with the ideal solution for their needs as they navigate the complex and rapidly changing environments in which they operate,” CM Group CEO Wellford Dillard said in a statement.

The acquisition is just the latest in a series over the past few years.
