Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg to Give Opening Keynote at CES 2021

The annual conference, held in January, will be completely virtual for the first time

The Consumer Technology Association announced today that Verizon CEO and chairman Hans Vestberg will give the opening keynote address at January’s CES, the trade org’s annual tech conference.

Vestberg, who’s held the top executive role at Verizon since March 2018, will discuss prescient technologies including 5G, telemedicine and remote learning.

CTA announced in July that the annual gathering, which brought more than 180,000 people to Las Vegas for the 2020 edition, would be fully digital for 2021.
